We have a very good stock of interesting, fine and rare books across all areas on offer for browsing and buying at our new Newton Book Room[ located just a few minutes stroll north of the lovely village of Mumbles in Swansea] and if that’s not enough we’ve another store-room on King Edward Rd near Swansea’s civic centre.
An appointment or prior call is always advisable or you can email me anytime on email@example.com
We exhibit at the various Cymdeithias Bob Owen Book Fairs around Wales – in Bala , Anglesey, Aberystwyth, Cardiff and elsewhere. And we have, for the last 4 years, successfully and most enjoyably, taken a large stand at THE NATIONAL EISTEDDFOD and we shall have a stand full of interesting Welsh books… recent , old, rare, grand and humble …at this year’s Vale of Glamorgan National Eisteddfod [August 4 – 11] and clients, customers, friends old and new are welcome to seek us out and enjoy the stock.
We encourage and keenly solicit requests for specific books or more general ‘want’ lists and desiderata by e-mail, snail mail or phone. We are happy to search for specific titles for our customers and we can keenly assist in the building of their collections. We are also a very good call for unusual bookish gifts for special events and birthdays
We still buy books and libraries but these days we are very, very, selective and somewhat self- indulgent, but we are quite willing to offer appraisals and help when good single books or larger libraries and collections need to be sold on.
Having exhibited, bought and sold books at the major international PBFA & ABA book fairs in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, London, Edinburgh, York & Oxford for some 40 years we have built a vast network of expert friends, invaluable contacts and fellow dealers throughout the global book trade. …So, if there is a book you want and we don’t have it, there is a good chance we can point you towards someone who will
